In my practice, I use an integrative approach that is made of a synthesis of techniques and schools of thought, including Narrative Therapy, Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), within a strength-based framework. While the counselling process may be fun and exciting at times, it can also be challenging, difficult and sometimes painful.
